Hi lovelies. Today I will be reviewing another product from Colorbar which is Colorbar Ultimate Mousse foundation. This is my fourth mousse foundation. I like trying new products from various brands so thought of trying Colorbar Ultimate Mousse Foundation Frappuccino.
I know this product is there in the market from long time but I recently bought this product because I was looking for some other mousse foundation for daily usage as I don’t like wearing heavy foundation on daily basis. I also have tried Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse foundation and Lakme Absolute Mattreal Skin Natural Mousse and Bourjois Mineral Matt Mousse foundation.
I have a very Oily skin so I stay away from heavy coverage foundation as it gives me cakey and oily effect on my skin. So mousse foundation satisfies my need of light coverage on face.
As I mentioned above I have already tried mousse foundation from various other brands like Lakme Bourjois and Maybelline before. Both with Lakme and Maybelline I was not that happy as it made skin oily and had very low coverage. I was happy with Bourjois matte mousse but the company has stopped this range.
It comes in a round transparent tub with a silver steel cover on cap. Easy to carry and travel friendly.
But after trying Colorbar Ultimate Mousse Foundation it exactly matched my skin tone that is it has yellow based tone.
Lakme as well as Maybelline have various shades available but Colorbar Ultimate Mousse has only three shades in this range Frappuccino, Café Misto and Caramel Macchiato.
Texture of all these foundation is creamy and soft easy to apply and easily blends on the skin.
It’s smooth, lightweight and matte in formula. This foundation blends on the skin very easily and gives semi matte finish. It doesn’t make the skin oily and cakey but after few hours may 3 or 4 hours of application I feel my skin bit shiny and oily may be because I have very oily skin.
It’s pretty good product can be used daily it doesn’t give much coverage on the face and you might need to use concealer to hide blemishes. For gals looking for high coverage this in not the right foundation for them. I use hands to blend it on face and it don’t require brush or sponge to blend on skin. As it easily blends with hands so I feel comfortable blending it with hands.
The SA told me about this foundation that if you looking for foundation which takes care of the concealer and compact powder you should definitely try this that’s why I immediately bought this product because I don’t like wearing concealer or compact on daily basis but frankly speaking it does requires concealer and compact for a perfect blemish free look.
It’s enriched with Vitamin E for antioxidant and nourishing benefits. This product is oil free, fragrant free and dermatologically tested. This product is good for both dry and oily skin people.
It gives light to medium coverage and can be layered for full coverage for those who has less or no blemishes on face. It instantly brightens up my face with a semi matte effect.
• Its light on skin
• Blends easily on skin
• Has Vitamin E
• Gives Matt Finish with velvety touch
• Fragrance and Oil free and dermatologically tested
• Its travel friendly
• Doesn’t make skin cakey
• Water resistant good for summers
• Reduces fine lines, conceals the pores and make skin super soft
• Expensive
• Might make skin oily for very oily skin like me
• Shades are limited
• Light coverage
• Contains talc and dimethicone.
• Extremely dry skinned people might have to moisturize face well before applying
• Long wearing
Overall it’s a good mousse foundation but I might not buy it again because of less coverage but people looking for everyday usage with less blemishes can love this product.
I recommend this product for both dry and oily skin tone. Might feel a bit comfortable on very dry skin but using with a good moisturiser is advised.

Mousse foundations don't go well with my skin but my friend love using them a lot.
I must appreciate your honest review. I think it will be good to use during winter as a casual day look. Isn't it?
This seems like a very good medium coverage foundation. The coverage also looks well. Will give it a try.
Oh this brand is quite trusted but good you mentioned pros and cons both. Lemme check out this after some thinking.
Ive never tried colorbar foundation. Really like that it easily blends and doesn't look cakey on skin. Would love to try
I use color bar foundation and I love it to the core.
My face is oily so I won’t mind to try this mousse foundation.
Though somewhat expenside the Colourbar Ultimate Mousse Foundation seems a good foundation. I like the fact that it is light on the skin.
