Hi all..
Its monsoon now and it’s advisable to always prime your face before applying any makeup on the face. Primer sets the base of the makeup for long. I have pretty oily skin and I need a good primer. I was looking to buy a new primer for me and I got this recently. I heard a lot about this primer so thought of trying it out. So finally after trying for few weeks I can actually share my experience using it.
It comes in a black cardboard packaging where all details are printed on the box. The tube is black in colour and the cap is silver in colour. I liked the colour combination of the tube.
The colour of the primer is light pink in colour. Its texture is very smooth, soft, and lightweight and glides easily and smoothly on face. It has a mild fragrance.
It settles into matte finish. I loved the texture of the primer. People like me who has oily skin will love the texture.
Absolute Line which claims to blur out all imperfections and create a flawless base for your makeup.
It doesn’t require a lot of quantity just a peas size is enough for my face.
It conceals pores and makes the skin look a little brighter and smoother. It can be used under makeup or on its own if you just need slight touch up.
Staying power of my makeup looks decent after using this primer. This kept my makeup in place or good 5 to 6 hours. Since I have very oily skin it shows some oil near my T zone after 6 hours.
It does a great job of controlling oil on my face. Overall it’s a good primer which can be used once in a while because it has chemicals which is not good for your skin on daily usage.
Dry skin people can avoid this because it is not hydrating to the skin. It will best work for combination to oily skin people.
It is a good primer overall for creating the base for foundation. It is very smooth and soft in texture it blends easily and gives a velvety matte finish. It hides light blemishes and pores.
It controls oil on my face. It will be best for oily to combination skin people. I will recommend this primer for special occasions and all not for daily use as it has lot of chemicals which can harm the skin.

lip primer is must to me when I make bright lip makeup. It's better to have one inexpensive though because it finishes up way too fast with me and my love to bright lipsticks (especially now when we can get on fine without a mask, I still wear it often but am happy when I can choose not to)
I was just thinking the other day that I wish I had a primer while I was getting ready for a gala!!
This is a cool product, and never heard of it before. My friend has oily skin and might find this interesting. Sharing it with my friend. Thank you for this lovely review!
This is a very extended revue - I think you didn't leave a question unanswered. The product looks very good - do you know if I could buy it in Europe, too?
I haven't heard of this brand before but I really like the way you set up your pros and cons list. I get dry patches sometimes so this might not be the best product for my face.
I never heard of this one, i used to use Sephora's and Clarins' :)
very nice makeup review! I liked the pictures of it on your skin as well
I have never really used primers, but definitely can see the benefits. Nice Review!
I have never tried Lakme cosmetics, but this primer sounds like a great product. Thank you so much for the post!
A detailed and well written post. Like the way you've talked about the cons of the product.
