L’Oreal True Match Genius 4 in 1 in G2 Gold Porcelain Review

Hi all..
I recently went to Health and Glow to pick up some shampoo and other stuff. I saw this small sturdy box type thing in L’Oreal counter. It was nothing but a foundation. The sales person on that counter insisted me to try this foundation as it is 4 in 1.

This foundation is 4 in 1 Primer, Foundation, Concealer and Powder. So I got excited as it claims it does the job of foundation, primer , concealer and powder. So thought let me give it a try.

She tried on my face and I don’t know why I just bought it without thinking whether it will suit me or not as it is cream based foundation.

Experience using L’Oreal True Match Genius 4 in 1 in G2 Gold Porcelain

It comes in cute white plastic small box which is I feel is the attractive part of the product. There is one transparent window type on the top of the box from where you can see the shade of the product. The lid opens vertically and it has one sponge inside with a mirror. Overall the packaging of the product is awesome and travel friendly can be carried in handbag.
The texture of the product is thick and creamy. I usually avoid cream based foundation but this one I couldn’t skip buying it. The sales person said its good for oily skin as well and it will suit my skin as well. Don’t know what happened to me that evening I couldn’t say her no because in past I had experience using cream foundation which made my skin greasy and oily within few hours.

When I first tried it I took product in my fingers and dabbed on my skin later with the sponge. It blends on the skin effortlessly. It goes smooth on face. You got to take more product to cover the blemishes and marks. It gives very less coverage so wont suggest for gals with more blemishes on skin.
It is monsoons now so I think this will be a bad option to use it. It made my skin greasy and oily after few hours as expected. It doesn’t cover acne scars or any blemishes on my skin.
Staying power is also poor. It hardly stayed for 2 to 3 hours after that I felt very sticky and greasy.
This product claims 4 in 1 effect that is Foundation+ Concealer+ Primer+ Powder which I feel for my skin didn’t work out well. It made my skin oily and greasy also it was looking cakey. So it failed as 4 in 1 claim for me. It didn’t give me any coverage so failed as foundation.

It didn’t conceal my blemishes or acne marks so failed here as well. And can’t say whether it worked as primer because I didn’t feel anything so failed again. And yea it failed as Powder as well. So overall a flop product for me.
Staying power is also poor. It hardly stayed for 2 to 3 hours after that I felt very sticky and greasy.

I won’t buy this product again. People with very oily skin like me should not try this product. It does not fulfil its claims. It didn’t work for my skin. It gives very light to no coverage. It made my skin oily and greasy after few hours. Staying power is very poor. It looks cakey after sometime. Overall a flop product for Rs 1295.
