MUA Matt Perfect Primer Review

Hello all..

Before trying Nivea After Shave Balm as Makeup Primer I already purchased this primer MUA Matt Perfect Primer on http://www.nykaa.com/.  I was basically using L’Oreal Paris Base Magique Primer and was happy with it but thought of trying this brand MUA which is a famous international brand for makeup.

Quantity- 15ML

Experience using MUA Matt Perfect Primer

I have oily skin so primer is must for me or else foundation doesn’t stay on my face for long. So finding a primer which controls oils and shine on face is difficult. I already used Inglot Primer which I was satisfied with and after that I used L’Oreal Paris Base Magique which was also satisfactory for me.

But being a makeup junkie I like trying different products so bought this one because it said it controls oil and has matte effect. So without thinking twice I just ordered this primer.

It comes with a plastic small white tube with a cap to open. It’s quite simple in packaging and is very travel friendly.

Frankly speaking the tube is very small and the product feels very less in the tube although its 15 ML I feel it’s very less for this cost. It’s kind of expensive I felt.

Its fragrance free primer. You need to press the tube to get the product. You need pea size of the product for full face. It’s easy to apply and gels in to the face in few seconds. Its thick in consistency and the colour of the primer is yellow looks like tinted.

It stays for almost 6 to 7 hours on face. As I already said I have very oily skin I feel little oily on my t-zone area after 3 to 4 hours.  I can’t say whether it broke me out or no because I already had few pimples already when I started using this primer.

Overall a good primer can say might suit all skin tones.

Pros of MUA Matt Perfect Primer

  • Stays on long on face
  • Good for all skin tones including dry skin
  • Easy to carry
  • Needs only little amount to apply on all face
  • Controls oil and mattifies the skin
  • Fragrance free

Cons of MUA Matt Perfect Primer

  • Expensive for 15 ml
  • Only available Online

Recommendation

It’s a good primer which keeps foundation in place for 6 to 7 hours. It controls oil and mattifies the skin. It’s easy to carry. It might suit all skin tones. Yes it’s expensive and the quantity in the tube is not that much. It will get empty in a month if you use on daily basis.

I might not buy this again. Will try some other brand.
